The world has leaned hard into conservatism, Japan included, so there's no reason I can't write hardcore investigative stuff about foreigners that break the rules here in Japan...like the ones that don't clean up after themselves, or separate their garbage properly...Japanese publications would dig that. Or write about how fascinating it was to learn the nuances of yorisou, or the importance of learning to kuuki the yomu and how doing so could mean the difference between being a burdensome gaijin and stellar foreign residents, and stuff like that. That's the kind of stuff that sells like hotcakes. I could just take on a pseudonym and go nuts (-; Or not...
